Hello again. It's now October 28th and we are completing the job of getting things in order to hand off the ownership of our home. We are essentially living in our camper now as all the furniture and bedding is gone. I'm eagerly awaiting Wednesday as this is the day that we leave the house. Still lots of little things to pack up and load in the camper. After six months of this adventure we're ready to leave. We'll leave a lot of warm memories.behind. As an avid radio amateur (ham) I've had an excellent radio location. I'll miss the magic of radio that goes back to my teen years. I still remember as a 16 year old the excitement of contacting far away countries using simple wire antennas and an old Navy morse code key sending out the dots and dashes and hearing fluttery signals coming back over the aether. What a great hobby. Someday I'll get back on the air when we finally land at a new home. Marilyn is taking some sewing equipment with us and I'm going to renew my interest in photography.
